Dear friends,
I want to congratulate the newest inductees into the Order of the Keeper of the Christmas Secret: Jim Farrell and Kasey Wurth. Jim and Kasey are two very special people and they have proven in their lives, that they keep the Christmas secret (the Secret of Living is in Giving) each and everyday! We are blessed to have them among us and we congratulate them on their recognition!
Last Saturday we experienced a new program initiative for our church . . . the J.C. Cafˆ©. This attempt at fellowship and evangelism was an astounding success! Those of us who worked on the project and all who attended were blessed at this new way of being together as a congregation, welcoming visitors and being in ministry. We owe a debt of gratitude to Violet Simpson, Debbie Leff, Lola & Harry Schwartz, our FUMC Youth Band and to our guest Frank Rendo. Over seventy people attended and enjoyed the fun and fellowship and listened to the beautiful voice and spirit of Frank Rendo.
Sincerely,
Pastor Eldon Simpson
