Dear Friends:
Imagine if your child tells you he will stop taking baths for the next two months because it's summer. You would think your child needs some talking to. Too often worship gets neglected during the summer months. Just as food, rest and exercise are vital to physical health, lifestyle of worship is essential to our spiritual life and health. During the summer weeks, my hope is that all of us will be refreshed, renewed and recharged not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually, as we continue in faithful worship, meditation of God's Word and prayer life.
If you're in town during the summer weeks, please make time for Sunday worship with us so that we can draw near to God together and encourage each other along the way. And whenever you're out of town, please find a church to worship the Lord. When we choose to seek God first and worship God without fail, God is honored and pleased. And God does not sit still when He is pleased and blessed by the ones who seek Him (Hebrews 11:6, Matthew 6:33, 2Chronicles 16:9).
May this summer be a time of refreshment, renewal and encouragement. Let's not forget to wash and worship the Lord faithfully!
With you on the journey
Pastor Julia YH Yim
