CONGREGATIONAL TALENT NIGHT: Sat. March 10, 2007. We are offering an opportunity for you to share your gifts and talents with your church family. Instead of inviting a singer or group to our next J.C. Café, we are inviting the congregation to participate in a special "Home Talent Night". We encourage our youth to be a part of this evening, as they have many gifts to offer. We'd like to include a wide variety of media with a focus on music, as well as dance, poetry reading, artwork, photography and any other ideas you may have. Come and experience the J.C. Café atmosphere with a different focus. Coffee, tea, juice and a variety of delicious desserts will be served. The suggested donation of $5.00 will be given to as a special offering.
There is a sign-up sheet for those who would like to participate on the large bulletin board closest to the stage in Fellowship Hall. Any questions, please contact Pat DiMassi, 516-796-1894. Thank you.

PHONE CHAIN: This is the last chance to be a part of the emergency phone/e-mail chain. M&E is coordinating a list of people who would like to be contacted if an emergency arises (i.e. illness or death) during the week. If you wish to be included, please give your name, phone number or e-mail address to Pat DiMassi. You can put it in the offering plate on Sunday morning. Thank you.

Dear Church Family, Thank you very much for all of the many ways you have shown my family and I support these past few weeks. All of your prayers, cards, e-mails, phone calls, other acts of kindness have truly been appreciated- more than you could ever know. It has truly been a comfort and a blessing to know that so many people have been thinking about me and lifting me up in prayer every day. Your prayers have made a difference, and it is my prayer for you that your kindness may come back to you tenfold. I have been recovering quite nicely from my surgery, and I am looking forward to returning to church and seeing all of you again soon. Thank you again and God bless you! Love, Carmen
