The Messenger

May 6, 2007

Dear Friends,

As we see trees & flowers in bloom everywhere, may our faith in Christ continue to blossom and grow to bear more fruit so that we may glorify our God and fulfill His purpose for us. With Christ as our Shepherd, who is our all in all, we can take bolder steps to love others & lead many more to the Great Shepherd!
The 11:30 AM Praise Service has launched and is off to a good start. Our God is awesome! Please continue to pray for God's blessing that God's Kingdom will advance where we are and His people blessed to reach more & serve God in the world.
Be sure to join us this Month for many of our Worship & Outreach opportunities to grow & serve the Lord together!

Because Christ Lives,
Pastor Yim

Has your teenager or young adult daughter been a source of joy and pride for you? Is there a lonely woman in your neighborhood who would love to share conversation and quiche with other women? Show her you appreciate her and invite her to be your guest at the luncheon. Men, is your wife in need of some time with other adult women? Surprise her with a ticket for the luncheon. Saturday, May 19th, 12:00-2:00pm. Tickets are $12.00 and can be purchased during Coffee Hour.

REFLECTION ON STEWARDSHIP
"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead
James 2:14-17

REMEMBER IN PRAYER the confirmation students that they may know Christ personally and follow Him: Melissa Andrews, Brian Carle, Andrew Makosky, Matthew Dinda, Charlie Nataro & Charissa Middendorff.

GRADUATES: If you know of anyone in our church who is graduating from high school or college this year, please share this information with the Church Office so that we can acknowledge their achievement and pray for God's continued blessings upon them.
