The Messenger

September 23, 2007

Dear Friends,
Through the Parables of Lost Sheep & Lost Coin, Lord Jesus reveals the heart of God for people lost and the joy of heaven for each person who repents and thus is found.
We are called to reflect this heart of God "Lost people matter to God" and join Christ in His mission to reach the lost. This involves earnestly praying for salvation of souls, sharing Christ with those outside, inviting others to church, welcoming visitors & strangers among us, supporting the work of Christ through our resources, and using our gifts to advance this mission of Christ, etc. Come join in worship and serve together as we continue in this great Mission to reach more for Heaven's joy!

With you for Christ's Work,
Pastor Julia YH Yim

30 DAYS FOR KYLI is a spirit raiser. The goal is to raise awareness of the gifts we have each been given and to take better care of ourselves in an attitude of gratitude, while dedicating acts of self care to Kyli's complete physical healing. Kyli, one of our church members, is an infectious, spirited five year old girl who has struggled with encephalopathy of unknown origin since infancy. Kyli works very hard to achieve simple things like eating, drinking, breathing, and even sleeping. We remain confident God is working miracles in and through Kyli. Please join us by visiting the following website - http://theprocessfitness.com/kyli.html

ADVENT BOOKLET: The Membership & Evangelism Committee invites you to participate in another Advent booklet this year. Wasn't it inspiring to read personal testimonies, poems and stories written by our sisters and brothers from church? This year, we'd like to include YOUR story. The deadline to submit your article is Oct. 1. Thank you.
