UMW COLUMBUS DAY WEEKEND SALE: Sat. 10/6 & Sun. 10/7 noon to 5:00pm in front of the Thrift Shop on Main Street. Baked goods and items from China will be sold. Volunteers to help at the sale and bakers are needed. All proceeds from the sale support our mission work. Thank you.

CHURCH PHOTO DIRECTORIES: our directories have arrived and are available in the So. Transept. Those families, who had their portraits taken, may pick up your labeled copy. The remaining copies are available one per family. A very special thank you to Bill Jones for his ministry of photography and many hours spent organizing the layout of the photos.

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY: Envelopes are available during worship for your donation, which enables persons to serve God in life-changing ministries.

CONFIRMATION TRAINING: 8th graders or those who desire to be confirmed and haven't received Confirmation training, please contact the Church Office.

CONFIRMATION ORIENTATION: meeting will take place on Sunday, October 14th in the Library following the 11:30am service. Students, parents and mentors are expected to attend.

CHARGE CONFERENCE: this Tues., October 9th 7:30pm in Fellowship Hall.

UNITED METHODIST MEN are looking to expand their communion delivery ministry. If you know of anyone who is homebound or otherwise unable to get to church, and would benefit from home delivery of communion every month, please see Jeff James or one of the other members of UMM.

THRIFT SHOP VOLUNTEER NEEDED: If you are able to be a substitute volunteer worker for the Thrift Shop, please see Rose Marie or Audrey. Thank you.

THE LIVING TREE is a wonderful way to permanently record special moments in your life: Anniversaries, Baptism, Weddings, Confirmation, the passing of a loved one or any other personal or family event. A leaf on the tree is $250 and a rock is $3,000. Brochures are available in the South Transept by the tree.

FLU SHOTS: (and pneumonia) with no out-of-pocket cost are available at Hardscrabble Apts. (across the street from the church) on Tues., Oct. 30, 2007 between 10:00am & 1:00pm. Please see Kathy Bush to register.

WATERCOLOR CLASS: (with professional instruction) is being planned and will be held at Hardscrabble Apts. (across the street from the church) on Mondays at a cost of $5.00 per session. Art supplies will be low cost. Please see Kathy Bush.

COOKING/BAKING MINISTRY: If you know of someone in our church who would benefit from an occasional home-cooked meal or baked goods, please contact Mary Ann Nataro. Thank you.
