Dear Friends,
Imagine if people stop taking showers during the summer just because it's summer. That's silly, I know. Yet some people stop coming to church during the summer. Spiritual disciplines of worship, prayer, study of God's Word, etc keep us alive and in tune to God's vision & mission for us. Let's pray for each other if we're apart and worship and serve together when we're here.
May the Lord refresh and revive our spirits to a closer and deeper walk with Christ throughout the summer and into the fall!

MORNING OF PRAYER: this Sat., June 28th 9:00am-12:00 Noon. Get recharged and refreshed! Please plan ahead to draw near to God together! All Parents, Youth, Choirs, SS Teachers, Members and Ministry Leaders are invited to join in prayer together. Bring a Friend. Times of Praises, Prayer, Special Music and Devotion. There will be Fellowship Breaks & Refreshments. ALL WELCOME!
CHURCH FAMILY RETREAT: July 18-20th at Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island. The focus this year is "First, Love Jesus". There are only a couple of rooms left, so if you are planning to attend, please contact Rob Schozer or Jeff James.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: has been scheduled for July 21-25, 6:00-7:45pm for children ages 4 thru 10. For more information, call the Church Office or email youth@farmingdaleumc.org. Please remember and support VBS and our children through prayer for God's grace.
UMW Communion Supper: Tues. Sept. 9th, 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall, hosted by the Gold Circle. ALL women are invited. Tickets can be purchased for $12

STEWARDSHIP AND "GIVE ME FIVE"
Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."
Throughout the days of the summer months let us remember we are STEWARDS (managers) of all that God has given us. Let us continue to be model stewards through our faithful prayers, our presence in worship, our service to God & our community, and our financial gifts. Respond to God for all the blessings that have been given to each of us, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21)

Membership & Evangelism would like us to consider the following two suggestions:
Å "Summer Church Bulletin Board": If you are away on vacation, bring back a Church Bulletin from the church you have attended, to be included on the Summer Worship Bulletin Collage board at the end.
Å Prayer Partner: Choose a prayer partner and pray for each other over the summer. Encourage & share concerns through phone or e-mail, praying for our church community and our ministry together for God's blessing.
