Soup Kitchen, CROP WALK and ST. Kilian's Food Pantry FUMC addresses the problem of hunger in several ways. Church members walk every year for CROP, an international hunger program, and write to our elected representatives on hunger issues as part of the Bread for the World's annual Offering of Letters. For more information, visit: http://www.churchworldservice.org/CROP/. We also support the food pantry program run by St. Kilian's Roman Catholic church by making frequent donations. SHAREFood Cooperative SHARE (Self Help And Resource Exchange) has been temporarily suspended, but may resume in the Spring. We hope to be working with Philadelphia SHARE, which has expressed interest in bringing the program back to the New York area. Please keep an eye on this site for details. Soup Kitchen 
The Farmingdale United Methodist Church began serving those in need in September of 2003. Working with volunteers from the community and members of Farmingdale United Methodist Church, we to serve a free hot meal every Sunday afternoon in our church fellowship hall.
